Accounts Receivable (invoice preparation, receipts/deposits, collections).
Accounts Payable (enter vendor invoices, payment schedules/check runs, maintenance of disposal facility escrow accounts, and wiring of vendor payments as required).
Payroll (enter time sheets and process biweekly payroll utilizing construction-related payroll service - training available).
Assist with preparation of month-end financial closure and ad-hoc reports.
Perform other administrative functions including processing of new hire documentation, maintenance of filing system, back-up support to other departments).
Experience:
1-2 years in an office setting; QuickBooks experience required (Desktop preferred); Knowledge of Excel required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
